Day

Materuni waterfall

After breakfast at your hotel we start our life adventure with Materuni waterfall and local coffee tour. We start with a short drive from town Moshi to Materuni village. There we leave the car and start a short hike from the village through coffee and banana plantation and lots of other flowers and plants. On this tour we will meet the locals and learn a bit of their way of life. They will show us the process of making coffee from bean to cup. The hike will take us to the waterfall where you are able to take dip and have lunch. Dinner and overnight at the same hotel in town.

Day

Arusha national park

After breakfast we drive to Arusha national park where we start our game drive. This is the park full of flamingos, we can have our picnic lunch while watching them. After some more game drive we pass through Arusha town and have a chance to do some snack shopping. Here we now have our first handcrafted beer brewery. Trip continues to Tarangire area for dinner and overnight in your selected campsite.

Day

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast we start our day in the park for a full day game drive. Tarangire is well known for big groups of elephants and if you´re lucky this is where you see the lions climbing the trees. We have picnic in the park and later in the day we drive a few kilometers to Lake Manyara National Park, eat and camp outside.

Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning after breakfast we do half day game drive. The park is well known for underground water streams so the park is everlasting green. Its also home of primates, baboons and monkeys. Here we just bring fika and then around lunch time we go back to camp for a hot lunch. After packing we drive to Lake Eyasi for overnight.

Day

Lake Eyasi and tribe Hadzabe

Here we will have the chance to enjoy the tribe life of bush man, their traditional way of life and hunting skills spending the day around. We walk with them to the lake to see the sunset. In the night we drive to Karatu town for overnight camp.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we continue to Ngorongoro where we will be going down the crater bringing lunch boxes. Here is your best chance to see a rhino. Full day game drive and then return to the Ngorongoro highland for dinner and camping with a view of the crater.

Entering Serengeti

We will drive into Serengeti National Park to see millions of animals calving at Ndutu area. Full day game drive there. We stay for overnight.

Ndutu day

We continue with game drive before heading to Ngorongoro to start the hiking at Empakai. But first dinner and overnight.

Day

Walking safari in Ngorongoro area

We drive to a ranger post where we will meet an armed ranger who will join us for a 4-5 hour hike to Empakai crater camp. On the way you will meet buffalo and elephants. We bring our lunch boxes. Overnight at Empakai Crater.

Day

Walking safari via Nayoki Maasai village

This will be a full day hiking in the Ngorongoro Highlands. Instead of the jeep we will be accompanied with Maasai and their donkeys. Hike is about 6-8 hours, and we will reach Acacia Camp that has amazing views of Oldoinyo Lengai (Mountain of god) and Lake Natron. Dinner and overnight there.

Day

Finishing the hike

The hiking will take us downhill for 3-5 hours down to the dry and hot rift valley at the base of Oldoinyo Lengai where you can spot the ashes from last eruptions. This is Lake Natron area. At the end of this day we will meet up with our driver again and drive to Engaresero village for a hot lunch. In the afternoon we have some optional activities like village tour, biking to the caves, footprints/maasai cultural. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Lake Natron to Serengeti

Today we leave Maasai land and enter Serengeti through the unique and remote north-east kleins gate. Game drive all the way to center where we have dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Mwanza

Today we will start with the sun rise game drive early in the morning to see the best of savannah sun rise and coming back to the camp for branch before we pack everything and start game viewing in the park towards Mwanza city, the rock city. Depending on the arriving time there will be time for a short tour in town. Dinner of your choice and overnight in a hotel.

Full day in Mwanza City

On the activity day, visit Bismarck Rock and the Sukuma tribe museum, explore Lake Victoria with a boat trip and enjoy the sunset, and shop at the Maasai market. The day concludes with a fresh fish dinner and an overnight stay at the same hotel.

Heading to Kigoma

We say goodbye to Mwanza and Lake Victoria after an early breakfast but starting our trip to Lake Tanganyika. This will be a day on the road. Dinner and overnight in Kigoma Town.

Full day town tour with boat experience

Jacobson beach with boat renting and canoeing maybe some snorkeling next to the beach. We can also visit the oldest market called Ujiji village and see the sunset at Bangue beach bar. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day

Katavi

It wont be easy to say good bye to Lake Tanganyika but now its time. After breakfast we will leave to Katavi National Park. It will take us about half a day to get there so around lunch time. We do a game drive in the park and in this park we see lions, leopards, hunting dogs hippos and more. Dinner and overnight in a half tented camp.

From Katavi to Mbeya

In the morning we continue further south to Mbeya Town, it will take about 8 hours. When we arrive we take a walk around town and dinner.

Mbeya Town

We start the day in Kitulo National Park, a park full of flowers and some animals. Later we spend the day in town.

Another long drive to reach Mikumi town and Udzungwa mountains. Denner and overnight in a hotel.

Hiking in Udzungwa Mountains

We start the hike right after the breakfast toward Sanje circuit route. On the way we will stop and enjoying a swim at beautiful Sanje waterfall with a great view over Kilombero valley. In order to enjoy the true feeling of the rain forest we will camp up there with firelight.

To Morogoro

We slowly hike down again for warm lunch before continuing to Morogoro via Mikumi national Park.

Morogoro – Lushoto

After breakfast in Morogoro town we continue taking a turn up north to Lushoto town in Usambara Mountains. We will have a short hike in the forest during the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a camp.
